Bishop Rodgers served as Dean-President of Trinity Seminary in Ambridge, PA from 1978-1990 where he also was a professor of Systematic Theology. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Bishop Rodgers served in the Marine Corps before attending seminary. In 1963 he obtained a Doctor of Theology degree from the University of Basel, Switzerland where he studied under Karl Barth. He was consecrated Bishop of the Province of Southeast Asia January 29, 2000 and has served as a bishop in the Anglican Mission in America (AMiA) since that time. John served as a board member of CMJ USA since its inception in 1980. John is the author of The Theology of Peter Taylor Forsyth. His newest book awaiting publication is on the 39 Articles. John and his wife Blanche have four children and eight grandchildren and live in Cranberry Township, PA.
