CMJ International Board Meeting

The CMJ International Board met at Christ Church, Jerusalem, June 7-11. This board is appointed to oversee the facilities and personnel in Israel. Represented on the board are CMJ chapters from South Africa, England, Australia, USA, and Ireland.

 

 


October 12-26 – Lausanne Congress on World Evangelism (LCWE) in Cape Town, South Africa. Dr. Theresa Newell is one of 400 invited delegates from the United States. Over 4000 delegates from 200 countries will be represented at this Congress. Anglican Archbishop of Uganda, Henry Orombi is chairman of this worldwide congress seeking ways to support Gospel workers everywhere.

Alexander College Sabbatical Program

In November 2010, other Global South church leaders will participate in the Alexander College Sabbatical program. For eight years, CMJ USA has sponsored Global South Anglican Church leaders to do Sabbatical study programs in Israel. This program is under the umbrella of CMJ's Shoresh Study Tour and Alexander College schedule of classes. These are over twenty of our friends who joined us last year from Nigeria with Bishop Ali Lamido of the Diocese of Wusasa.

Familiarization study tour for church leaders planning to lead Shoresh Bible study tours to Israel. Leaders: Yoel and Laura Seton. Yoel is Director of CMJ's Shoresh Study Tours in Jerusalem.

 


So you can see that there is a very busy season ahead. Your prayers and support are needed each day as new churches in the USA are asking for teaching materials, speakers and ways that they can be involved with CMJ USA.
