VIDEO: Listening to all the peoples of the Holy Land
Israel reports by Bishop Julian Dobbs, CMJ USA board member, and Rev. David Pileggi, rector of Christ Church Jerusalem
In the first week of October, ACNA Archbishop Steve Wood dispatched Bishop Julian Dobbs, Chair of the Global Mission and International Relations Task Force, to visit Israel. Bishop Julian also serves on the board of CMJ USA.
Bishop Julian met with Jewish communities throughout Israel, Palestinian Christians in the West Bank, and families of those directly affected by the October 7, 2023 massacre. Hear him recount his experience to Kevin Kallsen of Anglican Unscripted in the video below.
Bishop Julian call us to three actions in support of the suffering in the Middle East:
- Pray for all the peoples of the Holy Land.
- Be informed. Remember it is a personal tragedy before it is a political situation.
- Stand against antisemitism. There is no place in the church or the world for antisemitism.
- Remind others that there are still 100 hostages in Gaza.
